If you sell pork direct to consumers in Australia (including supermarkets, butchers, farmer’s markets or delis), new Country of Origin Labelling (CoOL) laws applies to your business.

This means food products sold from 1 July 2018 must display the new labels.

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) has published guidance on the new labelling rules for food to help businesses comply with the new requirements www.accc.gov.au/publications/country-of-origin-food-labelling

Australian Pork Limited, through the PorkMark program, is offering advice and guidance, along with the point of sales below, for producers and processors who need to use the new labelling system.
